2 Cat Studios was built to give the long running band, "The Return" a place to record their music back in 1990. It started out as a small room off the kitchen of our home. It was called "Darkwood Studios" at the time and within the first year, moved into a corner of the basement of the same home.

It began as a cassette tape based project that grew, next into a Roland Digital studio. As time moved on, it continued to grow until it became a full fledged Protools HD Accel 3 system implimenting some of the best analog gear found on the planet along with a wonderful array of Microphones and plugins.

Hosting close to 300 session a year for the past several years and working with some of the best musicians in the area, it has become home to many, many established and up and coming artists plus a CD and DVD replicaton service, Website design and mangement and now indie Record Label and online Music store.

With over 35 artists from all across the USA and beyond, we have become a fixture in the indie music community.

This year, we have even been invited to not only submit artists and their works to the Grammy's but will be voting on those works as well.
